Nottingham Forest winger Joe Lolley could be set to win the Championship Fans’ Player of the Month award for the second time in consecutive months.
According to the club’s official website, the 26-year-old has been nominated once again for the personal accolade, following a superb month on the pitch.
Lolley netted The Reds’ second goal during a 2-0 win over Hull City, before following it up with a sensational long-range effort in the epic 5-5 draw with Aston Villa.
The ex-Huddersfield man was a standout performer during the month as the Reds jumped into the play-off places in the second tier.
It was perhaps his overall performance in the game at Villa Park that caught the eye; against his boyhood club he netted and also laid claim to four assists in a breathtaking contest.
Forest boast genuine quality these days and Lolley is certainly one of the club’s most important players right now.
The PFA monthly award is voted for by supporters and the Forest faithful will need to throw their weight behind their player once again in the public vote.
Lolley is up against Villa duo Tammy Abraham and Alan Hutton, Norwich City pair Teemu Pukki and Emiliano Buendia and Leeds United man Pablo Hernandez.
