Nottingham Forest defeated Brentford 2-1 on Saturday and must now quickly switch their attention to West Bromwich Albion tomorrow night.

The Reds are still five points off the Championship play-off places and need to find some consistency if they are to gatecrash the top six.

The fixture with the Baggies represents a good test for Forest and it will be interesting to see how the Reds approach the contest.

Seat Pitch looks at a starting line-up that can prove too strong for West Brom tomorrow night…

GK – Costel Pantilimon

The Romanian played pretty well on Saturday against Brentford and the goalkeeping slot isn’t up for discussion right now. Pantilimon starts.

RB  – Saidy Janko

The Swiss right-back was steady against Brentford and there is a sense that Martin O’Neill will look for some continuity with his defensive unit.

CB – Alexander Milosevic

The Swedish defender had a very good home debut at the weekend and already looks like he could be a big player for Forest between now and the end of the season.

CB – Yohan Benalouane

The Tunisian returns to contention after serving a one-match suspension for a sending-off against Birmingham City. After an impressive start to life at the City Ground, he should earn an instant return to the starting line-up.

LB – Jack Robinson

Benalouane’s return will allow Forest to get Robinson back to his more natural left-back berth. The ex-Queens Park Rangers man needs to be careful, however, as he is just one caution away from a two-match ban.

CM – Jack Colback

Colback returns to the fray tomorrow night following suspension. The on-loan Newcastle United midfielder missed the games with Birmingham and Brentford and will be chomping at the bit to return to tomorrow.

CM – Ryan Yates

Yates’ youthfulness will probably see him get the nod over Ben Watson. Adlene Guedioura is also thought to be back in contention but following his great performance against Brentford, the 21-year-old should start.

RW – Diogo Gonçalves

Goncalves was introduced at half-time in place of Leo Bonatini at the weekend and did alright. Having been handed the chance to impress, he could be in line for a start at The Hawthorns.

AMC – Joao Carvalho

Could this be the game where O’Neill finally gives Carvalho a go from the start? Carvalho has played just 20 minutes during the first four games of the manager’s tenure and will look to impress if given the chance.

LW – Joe Lolley

Forest’s main man is unlikely to be handed a rest any time soon. With the Reds still chasing the play-offs they will hope that Lolley can continue to be the team’s match-winner.

ST – Lewis Grabban

Grabban marked his return to the side with a goal in the win over Brentford, whilst he could have also claimed the Man of the Match award too. The striker looked like he was edging closer towards his best and that should be enough to see him keep his place in the side.
