Nottingham Forest return to action on Wednesday night when they face Aston Villa at the City Ground.

The Reds were 3-0 winners over Hull City at the weekend and will hope to continue their stunning home form.

Martin O’Neill’s men have won four home matches on the spin now and will be confident ahead of the Villa game.

With the games coming thick and fast, Seat Pitch looks at which players will get the nod to play against Dean Smith’s team.

Jack Robinson will once again be missing for Forest through suspension.

Having put in a mature performance on Saturday, it seems extremely likely that the back five will remain the same.

Molla Wague and Saidy Janko will compete for a place in the team but Tendayi Darikwa, Yohan Benalouane, Alexander Milosevic and Ben Osborn should all start.

Costel Pantilimon will continue between the posts.

It would seem that Ben Watson’s omission from Saturday’s team indicates he will play against Villa.

That will probably mean that Pele drops to the bench, despite an excellent debut showing against Hull.

Jack Colback and Ryan Yates look nailed on to play, with the pair looking like the first names on the team-sheet right now.

Boyhood Villa fan Joe Lolley was effective when switched to the left-hand side in Saturday’s win.

Leo Bonatini was deployed in a wide role at the weekend and he will probably be replaced with Joao Carvalho for this one.

The 22-year-old simply has to start on Wednesday, given his impact as a substitute on Saturday.

Daryl Murphy could be in line for a rest too given the amount of football he has played of late.

Lewis Grabban is unlikely to recover from his Achilles problem in time and looks set to miss out again.

Karim Ansarifard had his best game in a Forest shirt on Saturday and as a result, he could earn his first start.
